This piece is the result of a public workshop held May 8 2010 at the Centre for Contemporary Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw. Participants brought objects that had some personal significance to them and built them into basic automatic instruments. I also recorded them singing together and individually talking about the significance of the objects they’d selected. One participant opted to play a bird whistle rather than talk about her object.

The installation was created for LABORATORIUM: ON A-I-R, and event at the CCA on May 15th.
